Our little baby is two months old and counting! We can't get over how alert and happy you are.
This past month has been a very big month for you as you were able to meet so many new relatives/friends and celebrated your first Christmas. You loved hanging back while watching your big sister in action! Next year we're sure that you are going to be all over and into all the action as well!
Highlights of the past month include
- You love to smile! You are so precious and especially love to smile right after you have been fed and when you are falling asleep in our arms. Mommy never wants to forget how sweet you are when you coo and smile as you drift off to sleep. Mommy could just eat these moments up!
- You baby babble. You love to coo, make oh oh sounds, and quasi laugh.
- You typically sleep through the night. On Christmas Eve you slept from approximately 11 o'clock to 9 the next morning. Mommy said it was your Christmas gift to me! You have been staying up until 10-10:30 on most nights and wake up around 8 in the morning.
- Although you sleep well at night, you are not much of a napper. When you do get a decent nap it almost always is because you fell asleep while in your car seat
- You found your hands and love to attempt to shove your whole fist in your mouth. Elise loves to tell everyone that "we have a thumb sucker"
- You love bath time! You love to recline in the whale tub and feel the warm water on your little body.
- You eat like a champ and are growing so much. You typically have a hearty size spit-up after every meal which typically always requires an outfit change for you and a shirt change for Mommy
