Elise's Birthday

Wow this year has flown by!

Elise, a year ago, you were a teeny tiny little baby who gave Mommy and Daddy a nice surprise by arriving two weeks early in the middle of the night. You arrived with your legs in your face and your toes pointed like a ballerina with such a sweet, sweet face. We were so excited to finally be able to hold our little girl and to kiss you and tell you how much we love you. You have made each day just a little sweeter knowing that you will be with us, smiling, screaming and full of energy!

12 months later, you are no longer that little baby, but a little girl! Along the way, you have mastered crawling, walking and running, plus you have now added dancing and spinning to your repetoire. You always have a huge grin on your face when you spin around in circles all on your own. You also really love to push your toys through the house. Your birthday present, a new dolly stroller and baby Stella, is perfect for you. You could spend hours just strolling it around the house...you typically throw Baby Stella out right away, but the stroller seems to fit the bill.

Grandpa's Birthday

It's so nice living in Wisconsin and finally being able to celebrate birthdays with everyone. We always hated missing out on all the fun when we lived in Chicago. Thankfully, this past Sunday the weather held up and we were able to hang out on Grammie and Grandpa's deck. Elise loves the deck, being able to push and pull the walker around, play with balls, and much to Mommy's dismay, stick her legs between the railing.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!! We love you!
